Rewire pain at the root through somatic movement and nervous system retraining
Address long-standing issues in the back, hips, knees, feet, shoulders—even TMJ and migraines

Learn a personalized movement and lifestyle plan to maintain your alignment over time
Whether you're an athlete, an elder, a parent, or recovering from burnout or injury—your healing path is unique. We help you walk it with clarity and care.
Why It Works
Because the body is designed to thrive in alignment.

We don’t just give you exercises. We offer a new way of moving, sensing, and being in your body.
You’ll leave each session with tools you can use for life—and often, relief that begins on Day One.

Align your body
Foot, knee and lower back pain can all be triggered by poor foot alignment and how you stand. This may show up as aches, pains, numbness, tingling, bunions or hammertoes. Our modern day lifestyle makes it worse. You don’t need to suffer. Play with your kids or grandkids. Take the dog for a walk. Relish time in your garden.
Dance…hike…move like you didn’t think possible again.

I came to Align P.T. with a great deal of pain in my right foot. I was despairing of ever walking normally again. After two months of diet change, following the exercises and becoming more mindful about breathing I am ten pounds lighter, way more flexible and have ZERO pain! I look forward to the continuing journey toward greater flexibility, strength and health.
P.S. Melanie and Robin are awesome!!

Plantar Fasciitis
four visits
When I came to see Dr. Carlone, plantar fasciitis had made it difficult for me to maintain a normal level of activity. Getting up to go to the bathroom at night was a near impossibility. I could hardly walk. Dr. Carlone changed all of that. I learned how to maintain the progress through exercise and through the coaching I received on proper posture and movement. If you are in pain and really need to make a physical transformation in your life, I highly recommend Dr. Carlone. Her work truly made a difference in my life.

Metatarsalgia
Eleven visits
Listen to Sandi’s story in her own words. Metatarsalgia is a big word for pain in the ball of your foot. Essentially you are walking on the bones (metatarsals) instead of using the arch of the foot. Physical Therapy and custom orthotics can help you.

Knee Pain
Osteoarthritis
Nine Visits
When I came for my first visit, the pain in my knees was unbearable. The learning process about posture, alignment, diet has been phenomenal. I have so much more hope that I will do quite well after surgery and that I can resume my normal life including hiking and outdoor adventure. Scotland, here I come.

I can walk, sit, sleep, ride in a car, etc. without pain - none of which I could do before. Knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain, all way way down to zero now. Walking down stairs had been awkward and stiff - now far more balanced and fluid. Very grateful.

Knee Pain & Hip Pain
Four visits
Hip pain was disrupting sleep and making it hard to walk any distance. Felt very limiting and depressing.
Not only has the hip pain resolved, but a right shoulder/arm/neck problem I've had for decades is much improved. Never thought that could change.
I can walk without pain again. Feels like a miracle.
This exceeded all my expectations, can't believe how much better I feel after just four sessions.

Cervicalgia and Migraines
Ten Visits
I’ve had chronic migraines for over twenty years. Chronic migraines, two to three a week that would put me down for at least a day, sometimes two or three days. I’ve tried multiple surgeries, I’ve tried acupuncture, tried physical therapy and still had the same problem. Until I came to Melanie. And within five minutes of having me walk back and forth and stand in front of her, she was able to tell me exactly what was wrong.

Cervicalgia and Migraines

When I came in, my head was off to the left with a rise of my shoulder on the left. I now look in the mirror and I like what I see - my head is centered!
My headaches are far and few between and my feet are very comfortable with the orthotics in my shoes.
I like that I have exercises that I can do to continue to keep up the progress I’ve attained.
